Help without the runaround
Commit Alarm Support
Practical answers for commitments, checkpoints, permissions, and Commit Alarm Plus.
How do I set up a reliable commitment?
Choose a checkpoint that is genuinely away from your bed—such as a QR code near your toothbrush, coffee maker, or front door. Test the scan before you rely on it the next morning, and keep an independent backup for safety-critical wake-ups.
Why can't I scan my checkpoint?
Make sure Commit Alarm has Camera access in iPhone Settings and that the code is well lit and undamaged. If the checkpoint is unavailable, choose the in-app offline math recovery so you are not blocked.
Why did my alarm not alert me?
Check that notifications are allowed for Commit Alarm, your iPhone has power, its volume is on, and the scheduled time is correct. iPhone notification and system settings affect delivery. Test a commitment on your own device before relying on it.
How do I restore purchases?
Open Commit Alarm Settings and tap Restore Purchases. Use the same Apple Account that made the original purchase.
How do I cancel a subscription or trial?
On iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, choose Subscriptions, select Commit Alarm, and follow Apple's cancellation options. Access continues until the end of the current entitlement period.
Does Commit Alarm upload my camera feed or history?
No. Camera frames are used only in the local scanner and are not saved or uploaded. Alarm configuration and completion history stay on your iPhone.
